First polar bear in space

There was relief all round the Artic circles today as the Apolar 1 space mission made a successful splash landing. Lt G. Lacier received a warm welcome from Ground Control at skate Canaveral.

A tired Lacier said "It was an amazing privilege to see the earth from space, however, the effect Climate Change is having on the ice caps was clear to see. It's very chilling."

He is now looking forward to Christmas at home with the wife and cubs, "It's going to be a while before I go back into space, you'll just have to bear with me."
